Ignazio Castellucci

Ignazio earned his law degree at ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome in 1992, summa cum laude, followed by a M.Phil. in Comparative Law in 1995, summa, and by a Ph.D. earned in 1999 in the University of Trento. 

Having been admitted to the Bar (Italy) in 1995, and before the Supreme Court of Italy in 2008, his professional experience is very relevant in the domains of civil and commercial law, including in the international dimension. In 2011 he attained the Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of London.

Ignazio is an Associate Professor of Comparative Law at the University of Teramo, Italy, also having earned the Italian national qualification as a Full Professor. His academic profile is internationally known, having researched and taught in many countries worldwide, with research and publications on general comparative law, international arbitration, global legal issues, geo-legal issues and security; and area legal studies on China, Asia, Africa, Islam, Latin America.
